League of Sound Disciples
League of Sound Disciples is the live Producer/DJ project of Jason Hann from the String Cheese Incident and EOTO.
Jason’s sets are filled with his original music, split into stems in which he recorded and played all of the drums, percussion, and synthesizers elements. When he plays live, he mixes, matches, efx, re-efx, and remixes these parts on the fly - in a similar manner as old school Jamaican dub artists - while also performing live vocals, percussion, synth playing, and scratching.
This live Producer improvisation element allows him to invite any other artist, on any voice or instrument, to join him on stage in the moment, and create unique live collaborative performances with whomever might show up in any venue or festival situation.
